Is Motorola Phone Tools compatible with Windows 7?Yes, Motorola Phone Tools is compatible with Windows 7. MPT version 5.27 and above are compatible with Windows 7.
Note: Outlook 2010 is not compatible with Motorola Phone Tools.
If you currently have a Motorola Phone Tools, 4.0 and above you will be able to upgrade that version of MPT after you have installed it into your Windows 7 computer.
If your version of Motorola Phone Tools is older than 4.0, you will need to purchase a newer version of Motorola Phone Tools.
Note: If you are going to perform a Motorola Live Update, please make sure that you are connected to the Internet, with a high speed data connection.
Please make sure you are logged into the computer as an administrator. Do not connect the phone to the computer, until Motorola version 5.27r is installed on your computer.
Note: Older versions of MPT will require several updates. If you receive a message that states you are up to date, and you do not have MPT version 5.27r on your computer, simply reboot the computer, follow the steps listed above until you have MPT version 5.27r installed on your computer.
Note: If you receive a Windows popup message that says hot fix one is required to have all features, select Cancel and the installation will continue and complete successfully.
